POWER SYSTEMS · EMBEDDED HARDWARE · PCB DESIGN

HI, I’M CAMERICK JOHNSON

I’m an electrical engineering student and working engineer with hands-on experience across power systems, utility infrastructure, embedded firmware, analog and digital hardware, and PCB design.

I combine power and infrastructure experience with hands-on embedded hardware development.

My goal is to become a multidisciplinary engineer capable of solving problems from utility distribution and facility power to firmware, sensors, schematics, and PCB-level design.

ABOUT ME

Engineering across systems, hardware, and infrastructure.

I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Houston, with a 3.83 GPA and an expected graduation date of December 2027. My experience spans substations, standby generators, switchgear, MCCs, power distribution, traffic signal systems, analog and digital prototypes, embedded C/C++, schematic capture, PCB layout, debugging, inspections, and design validation.

I am especially interested in power distribution and power systems, while continuing to deepen my embedded hardware and software skills. I value practical design work, clear documentation, field awareness, and the ability to communicate technical decisions to both engineers and clients.
